Comments from Utopians:

"All the matured clients are usually in the sauna or TV room while the younger ones hang around the open air resting place or in the rain room. Interesting to see what happens in the rain room. Open da ily 2-11pm. Most clients come in after 5pm, even on weekends. No point coming earlier when there is no one." -- Benjamin, Sep 28, 2005

"I have been to Bambusa last month. Entrance fee is R$20 the first time but the next time you get 50% off. Massage is R$50 per hour. It's worth a visit." -- Fip, June 9, 2005

"I called Bambusa and they said there is no body-to-body massage." -- Benjamin, May 5, 2005

"Bambusa seems to be quite the happening place. Wait on the upstairs deck until you see a guy you like and then follow to the steam room or open air showers. They spent some good money on this place. The massage is good. R$50 for the massage paid up front plus tip to the masseur." -- Mike, Dec 19, 2004

"A new sauna has come up by the same owner as Sentral Traditional Massage at Brickfields, Bambusa Massage & Spa. Their business is predominantly massage with very good blind masseurs as well as sighted masseurs. In addition to the massage services, they also have great facilities; the huge steam room is located on the 2nd floor. The rain room on the 3rd floor is great. Water drops from the air, it's like one huge shower room. There are also lockable private cabins within the steam room for convenience." -- Alexbam, Oct 3, 2004

Comments from Utopians:

"Kakiku now offers spa facilities in addition to the usual massage services. The place is huge, easily double or triple the size of the nearby Manatus, with their maze of dark rooms. The attraction - foam shower opens from 7-8pm." -- Alexbam, Aug 21, 2005

"Kakiku now has private rooms for staying overnight. The rooms are newly renovated and the price is only R$100. They also provide unlimited Internet broadband in the common area outside the room. And on top of that, you can use the same facilities as the sauna customer, i.e. the steam room, jacuzzi etc. They serve local breakfast in the morning. I heard they also rent the room for a few hours for R$50." -- ykk, Jun 14, 2005

Sejati Traditional MassageNo 35-1, Jalan 2/90, Taman Pertama, Cheras, 9285-0160, email. A gay chub and chaser massage center. This place is run by a chub and they have fit and chubby massuers.

Comments from Utopians:

"Now owned by a chub and all the masseur are fit and well toned. " -- roysejati, May 29, 2005

Sempurna AvenueNo. 29, 2nd Floor, Jalan 4/93, Off Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja, 9284-9929, 012-284-9922, email. A 3-in-1 center providing massage services, sauna facilities and a café spanning over two units of shoplots. Spacious and comfortable modern design. The selection of trained and experienced masseurs will ensure a soothing and memorable experience.

Comments from Utopians:

"Sempurna Avenue is classy and tastefully furnished, and spacious too, like a mini Senjakala. They have proper massage rooms with doors (not cheapo curtains). Their scrub rooms come with proper scrub beds and shower rooms, so you don't have to pop over to the toilet for the shower. Their masseurs are also well trained and professional. A highly recommended choice." -- Alexbam, Feb 6, 2005

Rooms offer thoughtful amenities like adjustable lighting, individual music selection, aromatherapy and more. VIP Rooms feature wet and dry treatment areas with in-room showers, soak tubs, massage waterfall, comfy lounge chairs and other pampering.

Comments from Utopians:

"Nice building and interior, friendly staff (although no choice of masseur when I was there - you take what you are given, but that was no problem). He gave an excellent massage, and much less brutal than some of the Thai massages I have had!" -- NDB, Jan 31, 2005

"The Senjakala spa is not to be missed. Very upscale and reasonable although quite discrete. Remember the spa is not on Jln Pudu but on Jln Pudu Lama which runs behind Pudu. Starting at the 7-11 on the east side of the main bus station go up a slight hill turn right at the smallish Indian temple then proceed straight for 50 meters on your left. Second 'house'- colonial style about 3 stories on your left." -- Mike, Dec 19, 2004

Sentral Massage1/F Jln Thamby Pillai, Brickfields (next to Super Blind massage, opposite the KL sentral CAT station). Facilities include coffee area, satellite TV room, sauna and more. Nice environment and friendly masseurs.

Comments from Utopians:

"E ven on a Thu afternoon, the place is filled with cruising men of all races, ages and sizes. Steam room is action packed, but facilities have dim lighting. And the entrance fee is only R$15. Well worth a visit!" -- Fip, June 9, 2005

"Sentral is definately becoming a chub and chaser haunt. I had good fun as a chub there. Spread the word. KL needs a chub-themed sauna." -- chubcharm, May 19, 2005

"I remember hearing this is a gay massage but apparently not. It's just normal blind massage. Disappointed." -- Benjamin, Apr 8, 2005

"Most of their clientele are matured men a'la daddy-type. If you're into them, go for it!" -- badinc, Feb 14, 2005

"Sentral is a place for chubs and uncles. If u r not into them, U may be disappointed." -- Alexbam, Nov 17, 2004

"This place has somehow turned into gay sauna (in my opinion). They have a small section for TV lounge, sauna and active steambath. Guys are daring and they approach you directly." -- Jeremy, Jan 28, 2004

Comments from Utopians:

"Zouk Body Massage is a nice massage center in Bangsar, just near to Bangsar LRT station." -- jimmy6187, March 1, 2005

Comments from Utopians:

"About Friendly Massage: If you see their website, that tells you they don't invest a lot in their premises. No doors and just curtains. Bathroom was just like in some bachelor's house, smelly. The receptionist get annoyed easily and has no patience if you ask more questions. Not recommended even though it's from the same owner of Senjakala and Khun Bodyworks." -- Benjamin, Apr 20, 2005

Celsius187-2 Jln Genting Klang, Setapak.

Comments from Utopians:

"Celsius is just plain spartan and needs many other additions to make it an interesting cruising spot. Only 5 other customers were around when I went there today." -- Alexbam, Nov 1, 2005

"Went there last weekend. New sauna with a nice environment, especially evenings with their open shower concept." -- Jonathan, Oct 17, 2005

Day Thermos40-6A Jln Sultan Ismail (next to Casa Embon guesthouse, almost directly opposite Blueboy disco), Bukit Bintang, 2144-9648, email. From Bukit Bintang Rd, you go through the narrow alley to the left of Regent Hotel, pass the open air cafe and tables, and you will see a block of shops right in front of you and Day Thermos signboard is visible. Just go up a narrow flight of stairs and press the door bell. Facilities include a small but well maintained gym, dim communal shower, a dry sauna which gets very hot, and a U-shaped steam room that is very active. Upstairs there are several dark cubicles. There are also two computers with wireless broadband Internet access and a TV lounge where masseurs sit and watch satellite TV most of the time, waiting for customers to request a massage in one of four rooms behind the TV lounge.

Comments from Utopians:

"Day Thermos sauna is the previously named Hot Top sauna. The entrance fee is R$25 flat rate daily, which includes a free meal in the TV room. On the day I visited, the meal consisted of fried fish and mixed vegetables. Massage is something like R$40 an hour. On my last visit, I met some mature white guys, Chinese, Malay and a cute Iban. A good place!" -- Fip, Jun 10, 2005

ManatusNo 119-1, Jln 3/93, Taman Miharja, 55200 Cheras. Three doors down from the gay cafe My Place (see above) on the corner shop lot of the first floor. The place is tastefully decorated and comfortable, with great gym equipment.

Comments from Utopians:

"The Manatus Spa has specials on Fri & Sat. On Fri everybody is given a loincloth. On Sat it is buff night. Don't go there if u r shy." -- Alexbam, Nov 17, 2004

OTOT27a 2/F Jln Ipoh Kechil (off Jln Raja Laut), 4044-3369, email. Walk up the side lane which is the right side of the Grand Central Hotel. Walk as far as you can go and on the right hand side is a karaoke club. On one side of the club, stairs lead up to the Pink Triangle (clearly marked), on the other side are the stairs to OTOT 2. Climb up one floor. The name means "muscles" in Malay and is also a naughty play on the Malay notion that something else is a muscle, too. The decor is subdued and sophisticated. The gym, coffee area, TV room (Satellite) and lockers are on the reception level. The 2nd level (which is open to the skies) has seating areas with lots of potted shrubs, showers, a steam room and an aerobics room.

Comments from Utopians:

"Went to OTOT2. Lots of guys interested in GWM!" -- skinheaduk, Jul 19, 2005
